Ketoconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 26, 2007. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with prostate cancer , hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Ketoconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic necrosis, hepatitis acute, hepatotoxicity, myopathy. Ketoconazole dosage: 400 MG PO TID. During the same period patient was treated with CRESTOR, ZANTAC, HYDROCORTIZONE, DUTASTERIDE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic shock, hepatitis acute, hepatocellular injury. Ketoconazole dosage: 200 MG/ X1/ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
