Ketoconazole side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 01, 2008. Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 343.9 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer  and was treated with Ketoconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, cardiac failure congestive, dizziness , nausea , pneumonia , pulmonary embolism . Ketoconazole dosage: 400MG TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with LENALIDOMIDE, OXYCODONE, COUMADIN, PROCHLORPERAZINE MALEATE, HYDROCORTISONE, CAPTOPRIL, DILTIAZEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 170.0 lb, was diagnosed with body tinea, fungal infection , rash  and was treated with Ketoconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, chills, dizziness , eye swelling, haematuria, hepatic enzyme increased. Ketoconazole dosage: 200 MG; QD; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CEPHALEXIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ADRIAMYCIN PFS, VINBLASTINE SULPHATE, ESTRAMUSTINE. Patient recovered.
