Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 131.2 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer What is  prostate cancer and was treated with Ketoconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bilirubin conjugated increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, decreased appetite, jaundice What is  jaundice, nausea What is  nausea. Ketoconazole dosage: 200 MG TID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
