Kayexalate side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 03, 2005. Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperkalaemia and was treated with Kayexalate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration, cardiomegaly, coma, intercapillary glomerulosclerosis, pulmonary congestion, pulmonary oedema. Kayexalate dosage: unknown. Patient died.
