Kayexalate side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Feb 17, 2005. Male patient, 42 years of age, was treated with Kayexalate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colitis ulcerative, diarrhoea, escherichia infection, graft versus host disease, liver disorder, lung disorder, rectal haemorrhage, thrombotic microangiopathy. Kayexalate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NEORAL, CELLCEPT, BACTRIM, ORACILLINE, VALACYCLOVIR, LEDERFOLINE, OMEPRAZOLE, CORTICOIDS NOS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
