Kayexalate side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on June 21, 2005. Female patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperkalaemia, abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, constipation What is  constipation, back pain What is  back pain, arthralgia and was treated with Kayexalate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colonic stenosis, constipation What is  constipation, enterocolitis, intestinal obstruction, large intestine perforation, melaena, peritonitis. Kayexalate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KALIMATE, CRAVIT, PURSENNID, LOXONIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
