Kadian side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 06, 2009. Female patient, 66 years of age, weighting 130.0 lb, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis  and was treated with Kadian. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , constipation , depression , diarrhoea, gastrointestinal disorder, hypophagia, insomnia, malaise, nausea . Kadian dosage: 60 MG 2/DAY PO. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 49 years of age, weighting 135.0 lb, was diagnosed with back pain  and was treated with Kadian. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, dental caries, depression , dysarthria, tooth abscess. Kadian dosage: 100 MG, 1 CAP BID. During the same period patient was treated with ACTIQ, LORCET, NORCO, OXYCONTIN, ROXICET, STADOL. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with back pain , breakthrough pain and was treated with Kadian. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol poisoning, anxiety , completed suicide, constipation , depression , homicide, insomnia. Kadian dosage: 100MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with LORTAB, ZYRTEC, LIBRIUM, TYLENOL SINUS. Patient died on 11/09/2004.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebrovascular disorder, depression , feeling abnormal, hypertension, imprisonment. Kadian dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROMORPHONE, TRAZODONE, FLUOXETINE, DIPHENHYDRAMINE, ACETAMINOPHEN, HYDROXYZINE, NICOTINE, CAFFEINE. Patient died on 09/15/2006.
