Male patient, 56 years of age, weighting 300.0 lb, was diagnosed with musculoskeletal chest pain and was treated with Kadian. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anoxic encephalopathy, coma, dysarthria, dyspnoea, overdose, therapeutic agent toxicity. Kadian dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OXYCODONE, PERCOCET, OXYCONTIN, XANAX, NEURONTIN, LISINOPRIL, DIOVAN, LIPITOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/24/2004.

Kadian dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRAMADOL, AMITRIPTYLINE, CODEINE, TRAZODONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/01/2003.
