Female patient, 77 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and was treated with Ixabepilone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, epistaxis, hypertension, lower gastrointestinal haemorrhage, neutropenia, sepsis , small intestinal obstruction, upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage, vomiting. Ixabepilone dosage: INITIAL DOSE 04OCT07;CYCLE=21DAYS;40MG/M2 OVER 3 HRS ON DAY 1. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
