Isovorin Side Effects Report #5304826-1
Isovorin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Apr 12, 2007. Female patient, weighting 70.55 lb, was diagnosed with rectal cancer and was treated with Isovorin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, haemoglobin decreased, thrombocytopenia. Isovorin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OXALIPLATIN, KYTRIL, DECADRON, FLUOROURACIL. Patient recovered.

Isovorin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on May 19, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with rectal cancer, blood pressure decreased, antibiotic prophylaxis, stomach discomfort, nausea  and was treated with Isovorin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , leukopenia, neutropenia, pneumonia , septic shock, thrombocytopenia. Isovorin dosage: 100.8 MG/M2 ON DAYS 1 AND 2. During the same period patient was treated with OXALIPLATIN, FLUOROURACIL, LIDOCAINE, EPINEPHRINE, IMIPENEM CILASTATIN, FAMOTIDINE, METOCLOPRAMIDE. Patient died on 03/17/2006.

Isovorin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Feb 22, 2008. Male patient, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with rectal cancer, prophylaxis of nausea and vomiting and was treated with Isovorin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, leukopenia, necrotising fasciitis, thrombocytopenia. Isovorin dosage: 325MG/BODY = 203.1 MG/M2 IN INFUSION ON DAY 1. During the same period patient was treated with ELPLAT, SAWACILLIN, SINSERON, DECADRON, KYTRIL, FLUOROURACIL. Patient died on 11/26/2007.
