Isovorin Side Effects Report #5558100-9
Isovorin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 06, 2007. Female patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with large intestine carcinoma and was treated with Isovorin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, leukopenia, vomiting. Isovorin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ELPLAT, FLUOROURACIL. Patient died on 11/29/2007.

Isovorin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 13, 2007. Female patient, 82 years of age, weighting 94.80 lb, was diagnosed with rectal cancer and was treated with Isovorin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, leukopenia, stevens-johnson syndrome, vomiting. Isovorin dosage: 125 MG/BODY=92.6 MG/M2. During the same period patient was treated with ELPLAT, FLUOROURACIL. Patient died on 11/29/2007.

Male patient, 60 years of age, weighting 112.4 lb, was diagnosed with rectal cancer and was treated with Isovorin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac arrest , depressed level of consciousness, diarrhoea, disseminated intravascular coagulation, leukopenia, metabolic acidosis, neutropenia. Isovorin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OXALIPLATIN, FLUOROURACIL. Patient died on 07/26/2006.

Isovorin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on May 17, 2007. Female patient, weighting 121.3 lb, was diagnosed with diarrhoea, rectal cancer and was treated with Isovorin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: duodenal ulcer perforation, leukopenia, neutropenia. Isovorin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SOLDEM, FLUOROURACIL, OXALIPLATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient was diagnosed with rectal cancer, blood pressure decreased, antibiotic prophylaxis, stomach discomfort, nausea  and was treated with Isovorin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , leukopenia, neutropenia, pneumonia , septic shock, thrombocytopenia. Isovorin dosage: 100.8 MG/M2 ON DAYS 1 AND 2. During the same period patient was treated with OXALIPLATIN, FLUOROURACIL, LIDOCAINE, EPINEPHRINE, IMIPENEM CILASTATIN, FAMOTIDINE, METOCLOPRAMIDE. Patient died on 03/17/2006.

Male patient, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with rectal cancer, prophylaxis of nausea and vomiting and was treated with Isovorin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, leukopenia, necrotising fasciitis, thrombocytopenia. Isovorin dosage: 325MG/BODY = 203.1 MG/M2 IN INFUSION ON DAY 1. During the same period patient was treated with ELPLAT, SAWACILLIN, SINSERON, DECADRON, KYTRIL, FLUOROURACIL. Patient died on 11/26/2007.
