Isoptin Side Effects Report #5659379-5
Isoptin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 04, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia, dermatitis, nausea , grand mal convulsion, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Isoptin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, erythema, genital erosion, nikolsky's sign, open wound, pain of skin, pruritus, skin lesion, skin reaction. Isoptin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLEMASTINE FUMARATE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, DIAZEPAM, CARBAMAZEPINE, DIGITOXIN, CLONAZEPAM, THEOPHYLLINE, PULMICORT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient was diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia, tachycardia paroxysmal, dermatitis, nausea , grand mal convulsion, epilepsy  and was treated with Isoptin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, erythema, genital erosion, nikolsky's sign, open wound, pain of skin, pruritus, skin lesion, skin reaction. Isoptin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLEMASTINE FUMARATE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, DIAZEPAM, CARBAMAZEPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: nikolsky's sign, pruritus, pyrexia, skin lesion, stevens-johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Isoptin dosage: 80 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYLCYSTEINE, DELIX, AVELOX, DISTRANEURIN, HALOPERIDOL, RINGER. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
