Isoptin Side Effects Report #5261477-5
Isoptin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Feb 21, 2007. Male patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with tachycardia and was treated with Isoptin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, cardiogenic shock, dilatation ventricular, disturbance in attention, haemodialysis, incorrect dose administered, lung disorder, multi-organ failure, platelet count decreased. Isoptin dosage: 240 MG QDAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, DIAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with PROPRANOLOL, ETHYL ALCOHOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Isoptin dosage: 120 MG ONCE PO. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAZOLAMIDE, FUROSEMIDE, FLUINDIONE, PHLOROGLUCINOL, PREDNISOLONE, SPIRONOLACTONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
