Isoflurane Side Effects Report #5389789-5
Isoflurane side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 10, 2007. Male patient, child 8 years of age, was diagnosed with status asthmaticus, sedation and was treated with Isoflurane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: encephalopathy. Isoflurane dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, FENTANYL, SALBUTAMOL, TERABUTAMINE, ISOPRENALINE, MAGNESIUM SULPHATE, IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
