Iron side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 21, 2006. Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 218.3 lb, was diagnosed with iron deficiency anaemia and was treated with Iron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, cardiac enzymes increased, hypotension, infusion related reaction, oxygen saturation decreased, renal failure. Iron dosage: 25 MG IV X ONE. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, TRANDOLAPRIL, EZETIMIBE, PRAVASTATIN, IMDUR, METEPOLOL, ALLOPORINOL, AMLODIPINE. Patient recovered.

Iron side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 27, 2007. Male patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with anaemia and was treated with Iron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactoid reaction, chills, muscle spasms, nausea What is  nausea, oxygen saturation decreased. Iron dosage: 25MG ONCE IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, cardio-respiratory arrest, confusional state, diarrhoea, hyperhidrosis, nausea What is  nausea, oxygen saturation decreased, pallor, respiratory depression. Iron dosage: 500 MG QWEEK IV. Patient died on 06/23/2008.

Iron dosage: 0.1 ML ONE TIME IV. Patient recovered.
