Iron side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 07, 2007. Male patient, 43 years of age, weighting 170.0 lb, was diagnosed with microcytic anaemia and was treated with Iron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, chest discomfort, cold sweat, hypotension, infusion related reaction, nervousness, pruritus, somnolence, unresponsive to stimuli. Iron dosage: 1000MG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 59 years of age, weighting 168.0 lb, was diagnosed with haematocrit decreased and was treated with Iron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, chest discomfort, dyspnoea, hypotension, infusion related reaction, nausea What is  nausea, sinus tachycardia. Iron dosage: 25 MG IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Iron dosage: 0.1 ML ONE TIME IV. Patient recovered.
