Iron side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 05, 2008. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 85.98 lb, was diagnosed with malabsorption and was treated with Iron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, dyspnoea, infusion related reaction, pallor. Iron dosage: 930MG/250ML NS IV OVER 2 HOURS. During the same period patient was treated with IRON DEXTRAN. Patient recovered.

Iron side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 11, 2007. Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with anaemia and was treated with Iron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioedema, blood pressure decreased. Iron dosage: 25MG ONE TIME DOSE IV. Patient recovered.

Patient recovered.
