Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 84.88 lb, was diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma and was treated with Iressa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, diffuse alveolar damage, interstitial lung disease, respiratory failure. Iressa dosage: 250 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with TAKEPRON, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, MUCOSTA, CARBOPLATIN, GEMCITABINE, CISPLATIN, MITOMYCIN, VINORELBINE TARTRATE. Patient died on 08/30/2003.

During the same period patient was treated with HALOPERIDOL, FENTANYL TRANSDERMAL SYSTEM, LOXONIN, CYTOTEC, MUCOSTA, MAGMITT, TOUGHMAC E, GASMOTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/06/2008.

Iressa dosage: 250 MG DAILY; PO. During the same period patient was treated with CISPLATIN, DOCETAXEL, CARBOPLATIN, GEMCITABINE, HOKUNALIN. Patient died on 12/21/2004.
