Irbesartan side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from PHILIPPINES on June 10, 2008. Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Irbesartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , hyperkalaemia, hyponatraemia. Irbesartan dosage: PRESCRIBED 150 MG AS AN INITIAL DOSE, THEN DOSE INCREASED TO 300 MG. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/20/2008.
