Male patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with myocardial ischaemia, oesophageal disorder and was treated with Irbesartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain , chills, flank pain, haematuria, pyrexia, renal failure acute, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Irbesartan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL BISULPHATE, DILTIAZEM, FRUSEMIDE, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM TRIHYDRATE, PERHEXILINE MALEATE, SIMVASTATIN, NITROGLYCERIN, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
