Iopamidol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from GERMANY on July 27, 2005. Female patient, weighting 6.94 lb, was diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus, congenital pulmonary valve atresia and was treated with Iopamidol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, hypotension, metabolic acidosis, peritoneal dialysis, renal failure. Iopamidol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LIPLE, LASIX, CEFAMEZIN. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with angiogram, coronary angioplasty and was treated with Iopamidol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, bradycardia, hypotension, rash What is  rash. Iopamidol dosage: 100 ML IV A FEW MINS. During the same period patient was treated with NITROGLYCERIN, MORPHINE. Patient died.
