Iopamidol Side Effects Report #4734272-0
Iopamidol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from GERMANY on May 20, 2005. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with dysphagia, pneumonia  and was treated with Iopamidol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , blood ph increased, cardiac failure, febrile convulsion, haemoglobin decreased, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, pleural effusion, productive cough. Iopamidol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ATARAX, AUGMENTIN, OFLOCET, EUPANTOL, EFFERALGAN, MICROPAQUE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/18/2005.

Female patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with computerised tomogram, pulmonary embolism  and was treated with Iopamidol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, bradycardia, cardiac failure, feeling abnormal, hypersensitivity, loss of consciousness, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory arrest. Iopamidol dosage: 100 ML. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, ASPARA, BONALON, DESYREL, MEROPEN, PRIMPERAN. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , cardiac failure, infusion related reaction, respiratory arrest, shock. Iopamidol dosage: 90 ML. During the same period patient was treated with BIO THREE, ATARAX. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anxiety , cardiac arrest , cardiac failure, cardiovascular disorder, contrast media reaction, dehydration, myocardial infarction, respiratory arrest. Iopamidol dosage: 90 ML,IV. During the same period patient was treated with BIO THREE, ATARAX. Patient died.
