Iopamidol Side Effects Report #4693586-3
Iopamidol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on June 03, 2005. Female patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with computerised tomogram, pulmonary embolism  and was treated with Iopamidol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, bradycardia, cardiac failure, feeling abnormal, hypersensitivity, loss of consciousness, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory arrest. Iopamidol dosage: 100 ML. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, ASPARA, BONALON, DESYREL, MEROPEN, PRIMPERAN. Patient died.

Female patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with arthrogram, spinal disorder and was treated with Iopamidol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accident, angiopathy, bradycardia, brain stem syndrome, central nervous system lesion, csf test abnormal, dysaesthesia, dyspnoea, hemiparesis. Iopamidol dosage: 0.5 ML, IR. During the same period patient was treated with XYLOCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE, HYDROCORTANCYL, MIGPRIV, ACETAMINOPHEN, VIDORA. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioneurotic oedema, blood electrolytes increased, bradycardia, csf immunoglobulin increased, csf protein increased, dysaesthesia, dyspnoea, hepatitis , hypotension. Iopamidol dosage: 0.5 ML, IR/A FEW SECS. During the same period patient was treated with XYLOCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE, HYDROCORTANCYL, MIGPRIV, DOLIPRANE, VIDORA. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with angiogram, coronary angioplasty and was treated with Iopamidol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, bradycardia, hypotension, rash . Iopamidol dosage: 100 ML IV A FEW MINS. During the same period patient was treated with NITROGLYCERIN, MORPHINE. Patient died.
