Iodixanol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 16, 2008. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with surgery , cardiac failure congestive and was treated with Iodixanol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, contrast media reaction, mitral valve incompetence, nephritis, renal tubular necrosis. Iodixanol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HETASTARCH IN CHLORIDE PLASTIC CONTAINER. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Iodixanol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 19, 2005. Male patient, 45 years of age, was diagnosed with subclavian vein thrombosis and was treated with Iodixanol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: post procedural complication, renal failure, renal tubular necrosis. Iodixanol dosage: 25ML ONCE IV BOLUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Iodixanol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 09, 2007. Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with aortic aneurysm  and was treated with Iodixanol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, fat embolism, haematuria, nephropathy, oliguria, post procedural complication, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis, renal vessel disorder. Iodixanol dosage: 150ML ONCE IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with ERYTHROPOETIN ALFA, FERRLICIT, NS PLUS D, BICARBONATE, ADVAIR DISKUS, PROPOFOL, ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
