Iodixanol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 23, 2007. Female patient, 60 years of age, weighting 145.9 lb, was diagnosed with scan with contrast, pain
and was treated with Iodixanol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: constipation
, diarrhoea, disease progression, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haematochezia, hypoxia, nephropathy, pain
, rectal haemorrhage. Iodixanol dosage: 150ML ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with IBUPROFEN, LANSOPRAZOLE, MEGESTEROL, MORPHINE CONCENTRATE, FLUCONAZOLE, ATORVASTATIN, FERROUS SULPHATE, TRAZODONE. Patient was hospitalized. During the same period patient was treated with DIATRIZOATE MEGLUMINE, DIATRIZOATE MEGLUMINE, DIATRIZOATE MEGLUMINE, NEXIUM, LEVOTHYROXINE, DOCUSATE, ALBUTEROL, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, fat embolism, haematuria, nephropathy, oliguria, post procedural complication, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis, renal vessel disorder. Iodixanol dosage: 150ML ONCE IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with ERYTHROPOETIN ALFA, FERRLICIT, NS PLUS D, BICARBONATE, ADVAIR DISKUS, PROPOFOL, ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
