Iodixanol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 07, 2006. Female patient, 96 years of age, weighting 127.6 lb, was diagnosed with scan with contrast and was treated with Iodixanol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, contrast media reaction, renal failure acute. Iodixanol dosage: 150ML ONCE IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with PIPERCILLIN, VANCOMYCIN, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM, LEVOTHYROXINE, ACETAMINOPHEN, ASPIRIN, SENNA, DOCUSATE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Patient recovered.

Iodixanol dosage: 150ML ONCE IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with ERYTHROPOETIN ALFA, FERRLICIT, NS PLUS D, BICARBONATE, ADVAIR DISKUS, PROPOFOL, ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
