Iodine Side Effects Report #5706492-X
Iodine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Mar 31, 2008. Male patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Iodine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gingival bleeding, goitre, hyperthyroidism, insomnia, nervousness, palpitations, prothrombin time prolonged, temperature intolerance. Iodine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, THIAMAZOLE, BETA BLOCKING AGENTS, DIGOXIN, PROPRANOLOL. Patient recovered.
