Intralipid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Sept 17, 2004. Female patient, child 2 years of age, weighting 28.66 lb, was diagnosed with volvulus of bowel and was treated with Intralipid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacterial sepsis, fungal sepsis, hepatic failure, infusion site infection, pancreatitis. Intralipid dosage: 14 ML/ 1 DASILY/ INTRAVENOUS INF. During the same period patient was treated with DEXTROSE, TRAVASOL, VITAMIN C, HEPARIN, LEVOCARNITINE. Patient recovered.

Intralipid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 29, 2009. Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 112.0 lb, was treated with Intralipid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pancreatitis. Intralipid dosage: 500 ML Q 48H IV. During the same period patient was treated with CHOLESTYRAMINE, INSULIN, LOVENOX, FLAGYL, ATIVAN, VANCOMYCIN, FOSINOPRIL. Patient recovered.
