Intralipid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Sept 17, 2004. Male patient, child 6 years of age, weighting 53.13 lb, was diagnosed with malabsorption and was treated with Intralipid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, haemorrhage, liver function test abnormal, viral infection What is  viral infection. Intralipid dosage: 220 ML/- DAILY / INTRAVENOUS IN. During the same period patient was treated with DEXTROSE, TRAVASOL, NORMAL SALINE, K ACETATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
