Intralipid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Sept 17, 2004. Male patient, child 7 years of age, weighting 51.59 lb, was diagnosed with parenteral nutrition and was treated with Intralipid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholestasis, colectomy, hepatic failure, liver transplant . Intralipid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DEXTROSE, TRAVASOL, RINGER, ZANTAC. Patient recovered.

Intralipid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Sept 17, 2004. Male patient, weighting 10.93 lb, was diagnosed with gastroschisis and was treated with Intralipid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: catheter sepsis, cholestasis, condition aggravated, pyrexia. Intralipid dosage: 24 ML/ - DAILY/ INTRAVENOUS INF. During the same period patient was treated with DEXTROSE, TROPHAMINE, CYSTEINE, ZANTAC, LEVOCARNITINE, HEPARIN, MULTVITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia of chronic disease, bacterial infection , cholestasis. Intralipid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DEXTROSE, TROPHAMINE, CYSTEINE. Patient recovered.
