Indomethacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 01, 2008. Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 220.5 lb, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Indomethacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, asthenia, decreased appetite, duodenal ulcer, erosive oesophagitis, gastrointestinal ulcer, melaena, upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Indomethacin dosage: 25 MG TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with SALSALATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
