Imuran Side Effects Report #4587200-5
Imuran side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 15, 2005. Male patient, 19 years of age, weighting 191.8 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease What is  crohn's disease and was treated with Imuran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, candidiasis, cytomegalovirus antibody positive, leukopenia, oxygen saturation decreased, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia. Imuran dosage: 75 MG; DAILY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with INFLIXIMAB, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute sinusitis, alanine aminotransferase increased, anorexia, antiphospholipid syndrome, aqueductal stenosis, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased. Imuran dosage: 100 MG;QD;. During the same period patient was treated with REMICADE, LOVENOX, ASACOL, LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT, HEPARIN, STEROIDS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Imuran dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, CIPROFLOXACIN, FLAGYL, TYLENOL W, ACTIGALL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
