Imuran side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 03, 2008. Male patient, 53 years of age, weighting 314.6 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Imuran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, blister, haemorrhage, pyoderma, scab , septic shock, toxic shock syndrome. Imuran dosage: 50MG TWICE DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ATACAND, PREDNISONE, ASACOL, CALCITRIOL, FLOMAX, ENTOCORT EC, LEVAQUIN, LORCET. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abscess , acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, back pain , c-reactive protein increased, chills, condition aggravated, erythema, eyelid ptosis, induration. Imuran dosage: 50 MG; QD;. During the same period patient was treated with PYRIDOSTIGMINE BROMIDE, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Imuran dosage: 100 MG; QD. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, CEFAZOLIN, CEFEPIME HYDRCHLORIDE, VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
