Imipramine Side Effects Report #5092745-8
Imipramine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 15, 2006. Female patient, 36 years of age, weighting 250.0 lb, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Imipramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, blood urea decreased, carbon dioxide increased, disorientation, dysarthria, electrocardiogram t wave amplitude decreased, hepatic steatosis, pain . Imipramine dosage: 200 MG, QHS, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METHADONE HYDROCHLORIDE, SEROQUEL, METFORMIN, LEVOXYL, BUPROPION, GABAPENTIN, TRAZODONE, DIAZEPAM. Patient died on 05/02/2006.

Imipramine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZOPICLONE, PHENYLPROPANOLAMINE, BENZODIAZEPINES, PHENOTHIAZINE, OPIAT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, delirium, disorientation, partial seizures, poisoning , speech disorder, status epilepticus. Imipramine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OPIATES, BENZODIAZEPINES, ZOPICLONE, PHENYLPROPANOLAMINE, PHENOTHIAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
