Imipramine Side Effects Report #5092745-8
Imipramine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 15, 2006. Female patient, 36 years of age, weighting 250.0 lb, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Imipramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, blood urea decreased, carbon dioxide increased, disorientation, dysarthria, electrocardiogram t wave amplitude decreased, hepatic steatosis, pain . Imipramine dosage: 200 MG, QHS, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METHADONE HYDROCHLORIDE, SEROQUEL, METFORMIN, LEVOXYL, BUPROPION, GABAPENTIN, TRAZODONE, DIAZEPAM. Patient died on 05/02/2006.

Female patient, 25 years of age, weighting 120.0 lb, was diagnosed with anxiety , divorced and was treated with Imipramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, akathisia, asthenia, completed suicide, dysphagia, dyspnoea, dysstasia, feeling abnormal, gun shot wound. Imipramine dosage: unknown. Patient died on 09/22/1981.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, confusional state, delirium, detoxification, disorientation, electroencephalogram abnormal, partial seizures. Imipramine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZOPICLONE, PHENYLPROPANOLAMINE, BENZODIAZEPINES, PHENOTHIAZINE, OPIAT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
