Imipenem Side Effects Report #5104647-9
Imipenem side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UKRAINE on Sept 04, 2006. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Imipenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, cardiopulmonary failure, multi-organ failure, oedema, urine output decreased. Imipenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMBROXOL, NIMESULIDE, QUAMATEL, ASCORUTIN. Patient died.

Imipenem side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UKRAINE on Oct 25, 2006. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Imipenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, cardiopulmonary failure, multi-organ failure, oedema, urine output decreased. Imipenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, AMBROXOL, NIMESULIDE, QUAMATEL, ASCORUTIN. Patient died.
