Imipenem side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 11, 2006. Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 108.2 lb, was diagnosed with serratia bacteraemia and was treated with Imipenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: thrombocytopenia. Imipenem dosage: 500MG, 250MGQ12, INTRAVEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ZOCOR, PREVACID, DIGOXIN, CARVEDILOL, LEVOPHED DRIP, NEO SYNEPHRINE DRIP. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN, CILASTATIN, CHLORIDE, DILTIAZEM, HUMULIN R, LABETALOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
