Imipenem Side Effects Report #4614847-X
Imipenem side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Mar 18, 2005. Male patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with wound infection and was treated with Imipenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, neutropenia, pyrexia, white blood cell count decreased. Imipenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LISINOPRIL, METFORMIN, TRAZODONE, RANITIDINE, PHENERGAN, HUMULIN, GEMFIBROZIL, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Imipenem side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 23, 2006. Male patient, 52 years of age, was treated with Imipenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol use, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, injury, liver disorder, pancreatitis necrotising, pyrexia, white blood cell count increased. Imipenem dosage: 500 MG Q 6 H, IV. During the same period patient was treated with CEFTRIAXONE, UNASYN, ZOSYN, KEFLEX, DOXYCYCLINE, NERUONTIN, ASPIRIN, ATENOLOL. Patient recovered.
