Imatinib side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 04, 2005. Female patient, weighting 178.6 lb, was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme and was treated with Imatinib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , asthenia, blood pressure decreased, cognitive disorder, confusional state, dehydration, pneumonia , urinary tract infection . Imatinib dosage: 400MG, BID, PO X 6 DAYS. During the same period patient was treated with TEMOZOLOMIDE, DECADRON, LIPITOR, ZESTRIL, ATENOLOL, DIAZIDE, TYLENOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
