Imatinib side effect was reported by a Physician from BELGIUM on June 17, 2005. Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 229.3 lb, was diagnosed with hypereosinophilic syndrome and was treated with Imatinib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: muscle injury, oedema, pain in extremity. Imatinib dosage: 100MG EVERY TWO DAYS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
