Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus insulin-dependent and was treated with Iletin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose fluctuation, blood glucose increased, cataract , diabetic retinopathy, eye disorder, eye haemorrhage, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, retinal detachment, retinal disorder . Iletin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NOVOLOG. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
