Idursulfase Side Effects Report #5705495-9
Idursulfase side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Mar 31, 2008. Male patient, 43 years of age, weighting 100.1 lb, was diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidosis ii and was treated with Idursulfase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, cardio-respiratory arrest, incorrect dose administered, somnolence, suicide attempt. Idursulfase dosage: 0.5 MG/KG, 1X/WEEK, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VERAPMIL, FAMOTIDINE, ASPIRIN, DIGOXIN, TORSEMIDE, PIMOBENDAN, LEVOTHYROXINE, HYDROCORTISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 43 years of age, weighting 100.1 lb, was diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidosis ii and was treated with Idursulfase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, cardio-respiratory arrest, completed suicide, hypoxic encephalopathy, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, renal failure. Idursulfase dosage: 0.5 MG/KG, 1X/WEEK, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with LORAZEPAM, VERAPAMIL, FAMOTIDINE, ASPIRIN, DIGOXIN, TORSEMIDE, PIMOBENDAN, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/07/2008.
