Idarubicin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from AUSTRALIA on July 28, 2005. Female patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, ill-defined disorder and was treated with Idarubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pyrexia, syncope, vomiting. Idarubicin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, FILGRASTIM, DIFLUCAN, ESTRADIOL, MAXOLON, ATIVAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Idarubicin dosage: (16 MG, DAILY INTERVAL: FOR 3 DAYS), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, FILGRASTIM, DIFLUCAN, ESTRADIOL, MAXOLON, ATIVAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, hypokalaemia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, vomiting, white blood cell count decreased. Idarubicin dosage: 18 MG, DAILY, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with IDARUBICIN HYDROCHLORIDE, CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, FILGRASTIM, AMPHOTERICIN B, AMPHOTERICIN B, ALLOPURINOL, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.
