Idarubicin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from AUSTRALIA on Mar 31, 2006. Female patient, 49 years of age, weighting 126.5 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Idarubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: liver function test abnormal, venoocclusive liver disease. Idarubicin dosage: 14 MG, 1 IN 1 D, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, AMPHOTERICIN B, MEROPENEM, TEICOPLANIN. Patient recovered.

Idarubicin dosage: (16 MG, DAILY), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE. Patient recovered.
