Idarubicin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from AUSTRALIA on July 08, 2005. Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 205.0 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, ill-defined disorder and was treated with Idarubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypokalaemia, leukopenia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia. Idarubicin dosage: 18 MG, DAILY, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, AMPHOTREICIN B. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypokalaemia, leukopenia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia. Idarubicin dosage: UNK (18 MG, DAILY), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, FILGRASTIM, AMPHOTERICIN B, AMPHOTERICIN B, ALLOPURINOL, PANTOPRAZOLE, ALBUTEROL SULPHATE HFA. Patient recovered.

Idarubicin dosage: 18 MG, DAILY, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with IDARUBICIN HYDROCHLORIDE, CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, FILGRASTIM, AMPHOTERICIN B, AMPHOTERICIN B, ALLOPURINOL, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, weighting 231.5 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, colony stimulating factor prophylaxis and was treated with Idarubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute pulmonary oedema, atrial fibrillation , cardiac failure congestive, febrile neutropenia, fluid overload, hypokalaemia, hyponatraemia, multi-organ failure. Idarubicin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, FILGRASTIM. Patient died on 07/20/2006.
