Idarubicin side effect was reported by a Physician from TURKEY on Dec 26, 2005. Female patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with t-cell lymphoma and was treated with Idarubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemodialysis, leukoencephalopathy, neurotoxicity. Idarubicin dosage: 10 MG/M*2 (DAYS 1-2), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ETOPOSIDE, IFOSFAMIDE, METHOTREXATE, CISPLATIN, CYTARABINE, MESNA, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood pressure increased, blood uric acid increased, disorientation, grand mal convulsion, haemodialysis, hallucination, leukoencephalopathy. Idarubicin dosage: 10 MG/M*2 (DAYS 1-2), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ETOPOSIDE, IFOSFAMIDE, METHOTREXATE, CISPLATIN, CYTARABINE, MESNA, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient died.
