Male patient, 79 years of age, weighting 175.0 lb, was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and was treated with Hytrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pleural effusion. Hytrin dosage: 5 MG, 1 IN 1 D, PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with FINASTERIDE, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, ATENOLOL, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
