Hytrin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 21, 2008. Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 225.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension, prostatomegaly and was treated with Hytrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure diastolic decreased, epistaxis, eye disorder, face injury, fall , loss of consciousness. Hytrin dosage: 5 MG 1 AT BEDTIME. Patient recovered.

Hytrin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 29, 2005. Male patient, weighting 250.4 lb, was treated with Hytrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , acute myocardial infarction, blood pressure diastolic decreased, breath sounds abnormal, cellulitis , constipation , deep vein thrombosis , sepsis . Hytrin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FAMOTIDINE, FUROSEMIDE, POTASSIUM, CARISOPRODOL, VICODIN, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, VERAPAMIL, FOLIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/19/2005.
