Hypertonic side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 09, 2006. Male patient, 28 years of age, was diagnosed with intracranial pressure increased and was treated with Hypertonic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood osmolarity increased, diabetes insipidus
, hypernatraemia. Hypertonic dosage: 250ML. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, MIDAZOLAM, SUCRALFATE, INSULIN, CLINDAMYCIN, PHENYTOIN. Patient recovered.
