Hydroxyurea side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Oct 13, 2008. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 156.5 lb, was diagnosed with thrombocythaemia, type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Hydroxyurea. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pain , pancreatitis. Hydroxyurea dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EUGLUCON, CARMEN, BLOPRESS, ASPIRIN, OMEPRAZOLE, CREON. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, b precursor type acute leukaemia, pain , pyrexia, thrombocytopenia. Hydroxyurea dosage: 500 MG QD ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
